Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Childcare staff members to join our team.
As a Childcare staff member you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Your role will involve supervising activities, implementing age-appropriate curriculum, and ensuring the well-being of each child in your care.
Duties:
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in childcare setting - Develop and implement daily schedules and activities that promote learning and development - Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and grow - Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members - Foster a positive attitude - Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up - Change diapers, assist with toilet training, and ensure proper hygiene practices - Observe children's behavior and provide guidance on appropriate social interactions - Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques - Administer basic first aid when necessary - Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and report any concerns to parents or supervisors - Occasionally lift toddlers - Getting down and up from the floor
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children - Knowledge of childhood development stages and age-appropriate activities - Familiarity with positive behavior management techniques - Experience working with toddlers and providing age-appropriate care - Basic understanding of early childhood education principles Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members - Strong organizational skills to manage daily schedules and activities - Patience, compassion, and the ability to create a nurturing environment for children - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail - First aid certification and CPR are required (Infant, Child, Adult) before first day of employment
