Job Description:
Purpose:
The Financial Controller is responsible for managing all finance and accounting operations, coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances, and preparing and publishing timely monthly financial reports.
1.
Skills:
a.
Proven working experience as a Financial Controller, or similar position.
b.
Experience with creating financial statements.
c.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end and year-end close process.
2.
Responsibilities / Duties:
a.
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
b.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
c.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial reports.
d.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
e.
Perform month-end and year-end close process.
f.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
g.
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
h.
Reports to Corporate CFO.
i.
Work closely with Plant Manager.
j.
Additional controller duties as necessary.

Experience and Education Requirements:
a.
5
years of overall combines accounting and finance experience.
b.
Advanced degree in accounting or finance.
