Machine Design Engineer

Location : Spring lake, MI

Key responsiblities include but not limited to:

Candidate is expected to support the Department's goals by actively participating in the development and design of new equipment from within the S.E. Deparement.
Being supportive and collaborative with co-workers.
S/he will be interfacing with Product Development, Testing, Production, and Manufacturing Engineering along with suppliers and customers, making communication very important.
This person must understand the Machine Design process and have good problem solving skills for troubleshooting.
Develops Concepts and Designs Machines for Production or Testing Processes.
Manages projects to stay within timeline and budget constraints, interfaces with Internal Customers to define needs, and assists in troubleshooting existing Machines.
Stays on top of new technology developments, collects information from suppliers, and calculates detailed quotes for costing purposes.


Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3 years Machine Design experience in Pneumatics, Hydraulics & Automation with a thorough understanding of Engineering Drawing
Must be a team player and have good communication skills
Must have good problem solving skills
Must be have good multi-tasking, project management, and prioritzing abilities
Skills in Mechanical Engineering, CAD, LuK package software and knowledge of current quality specifications
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
