What You Will Be Doingo Perform complete electrical, pneumatic control design analysiso Design complex machine control softwareo Integrate peripheral equipment (vision, robotics, etc.
)o Works with vendors to control costso Project management and assistance to Manufacturing and Assemblyo Participates in design reviews, design approvals, and runoffso Provides concept drawings, cost analysis, and documentation for proposalso Analyze throughput on machinery and make recommendations on how to improve efficiencyo Identify and implement improvements for quality, cost, and uptimeo Assist in troubleshooting equipment and train service techs on new equipmento Develop and propose spare parts list.
o Develop user manuals for operating and servicing the machines.
o Coordinate project installations with assembly, service and contractorso Develop and edit electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematicsWhat You Need for this Positiono Must have 3-5 years of controls design experienceo Must have a working knowledge of servo control and servo drive tuning.
o Must have advanced working knowledge of Fanuc softwareo Must have strong capabilities to comprehend mechanical functionality and complex controls architectureso Should have experience with Allen-Bradley or General Electric PLC controls is a pluso Strong working knowledge of electrical and safety standardso Should have working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office productso Should have knowledge of NFPA Standards, ISO 9000 requirements is a pluso Experience with Integration of controls across Ethernet/IP would be a pluso Knowledge of Team Building, Time Management, and Value Engineeringo Project Management capabilities along with strong inter-personal, leadership, and organizational skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
