Accounting Support Staff -Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant -Accounting Support Staff to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative accounting functions in order to drive company success.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage daily accounting functions for multiple locations

  • Work with vendors and maintain incoming invoices/statements

  • Manage daily accounts payable/receivables

  • Scanning and maintaining digital payable records

  • Create weekly sales journal entries

  • Managing daily flow of mail incoming/outgoing mail for accounting

  • Complete regular monthly bank statements

  • Scheduling patients and checking insurance eligibilites


Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment

  • Strong organizational skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner

  • Previous experience in QuickBooks accounting software

  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
